Slack Notifications

Wisdom enables sharing recorded sessions to your Wisdom team feed as short MP4 video clips. For each shared video, your teammates can tag, discuss, and assign users to resolve tasks. With Wsidom's Slack integration, you can now cross-post these posts straight into your own Slack Workspace using Wisdom bot.

To install Slack, create a Wisdom account and head over to your organization configuration page where you will find the Slack installation button

Note 1: This integration needs to be set up only once per organization, as it becomes available for all projects.

Note 2: The Wisdom Slack app installation involves granting Wisdom certain data access abilities (eg. users:read.email). Wisdom uses this data to manage Wisdom and Slack users for team collaboration. Wisdom uses the Slack API to request data on the fly- Wisdom does not store Slack data. For the purposes of data removal requests, uninstalling the app will prevent Wisdom from accessing your data.

Installation Steps

  1. In Wisdom, navigate to Settings > Organization Settings > Configurations.

  2. Grant default permissions to Wisdom bot.

  3. Your integration details page will refresh and show the Slack workspace you just added.

  4. Assign recorded issues to teammates having matching emails in Slack.

  5. Get notified within your workspace under the #wisdom-feed channel.

Uninstallation Steps

  1. In Wisdom, navigate to Settings > Organization Settings > Configurations.
  2. Expand options, click "Uninstall Integration".
